The Dalton Family

The Dalton family includes Devin and Tiffine, and their children Kelsey, Carson, and Caylin. One day the Daltons walked into the West Valley PetSmart, and saw Thai. The family never had a dog, and the kids were a little apprehensive but one look into Thai's brown eyes and their uncertainty melted.

Fast forward a year later, when Tiffine asked if No More Homeless Pets in Utah needed volunteers? Boy did we ever! The Dalton's started volunteering by coming to adoptions on Friday's to help with set up. Usually in full Dalton force, the five extra set of hands come in handy when it’s time to break down and clean up on Sunday evenings after adoptions

Soon the Dalton's started to foster and take on some manner-challenged dogs. Even though they lucked out with the perfect first dog, Thai, they went ahead to the dog training offered to foster homes. With their new dog-training skills, they began to make dogs with behavior issues more adoptable.

Tiffine and Devin have even helped out the adoptions truck by repairing the beleaguered Penske back door. They've rolled up their sleeves to clean cages, walk dogs, transport equipment and animals, and are willing to fill in when and where ever they are needed.

Between work, and the three young Dalton's dance classes, sports, and school, we aren’t sure how they manage to volunteer too but we so appreciate everything they do.

One thing that stands out for Tiffine was an experience that took place at one of this year’s Super Adoption events. “There was a little girl who wanted a dog very badly; however, she was so afraid of all the dogs that she would not even walk by them. I found a great dog and we sat and talked with her for over an hour. By the end of the event, that little girl went home with a great dog that I know she will love forever.”

The Daltons have truly enjoyed being part of No More Homeless Pets in Utah. They report they’ve met alot of good people who they enjoy working with, and as a bonus their children are no longer afraid of dogs. “Our hearts are forever with No More Homeless Pets in Utah” Tiffine says. They are a part of what makes No More Homeless Pets Adoption Program such a big success!
