Take notice, I am Nikita. True to my heritage, I am strong, proud, dignified and courageous. Akitas are majestic dogs, and I only associate myself with those I respect, and you do not exist in my world unless you have proven yourself worthy.
I am the strong silent type, and although I may seem aloof to strangers, I am the most devoted to my people pack. My quest is for a human pack of my own.

UPDATE: Nikita’s pursuit to find her own family pack has become a reality! A family experienced with Akitas, accepted Nikita’s challenge, and took her as one of their own. The proud family renamed her Luna because she came into their lives on a full moon. Luna’s heart is less guarded, and she can enjoy some fun times such as taking on the role of lead singer as the teenage boys play their instruments, and showering her family with kisses. Luna’s new adoptive mom gushes, “I can’t thank you enough for taking care of her until she got to us.”
