Immediate Volunteer Needs
Weekend Adoption Event Volunteers Needed!
Regular weekend volunteers are needed to assist our staff at our weekend adoption events. Tasks include setting up for a few hours on Fridays, walking the dogs, caring for the cats, cleaning, talking to the public about our adoptable pets, transporting pets, and cleaning up after the event. Various shifts are available for Saturday and Sunday. You can choose from 9am-1pm, 12:30am-4pm, or 3:30pm-4pm. These shifts are designed to not take up your whole day. Each weekend the event location will vary, but they are always in Salt Lake County.
Office Helpers Come On Down!
Office work may not be your idea of a good time, but in order for us to save animals we have to keep exact records. Volunteers are needed at our Sandy office to perform basic filing and data entry as well as help out with other projects. You do not need to be a computer wiz, just be willing to come in a few hours a week during business hours. We can be flexible with your schedule.
Weekly Shelter Volunteers
We are looking for responsible volunteers who can commit to a regular weekly 1-2 hour shift to clean, care for and play with our adoptable dogs at our downtown dog kennels. Various morning, midday and evening shifts are available.
Weekly volunteers are also needed to care for our cats at the West Valley City PetSmart.
