Community Service and Internships
Community Service- Available for class projects depending on the age group and the amount of time a group would like to spend on a project. (Volunteers must be at least 13 years old and have adequate adult supervision depending on how large their group is.) Projects for individual students are also available and can be designed to fit the student’s needs and interests.
Court Ordered Community Service- May be available and is determined on an individual basis. Applicants should fill out and submit the Community Service form, the Volunteer Information Sheet, and the General Release Form to utahvolunteer@bestfriends.org for review. No More Homeless Pets In Utah prefers that community service hours are not required due to committing a violent crime, or an act of theft.
Internships- May be available for high school and college students depending on their schools individual requirements. Students might assist with several different projects depending on their grade level and experience. Internship students in the past have assisted with office projects, fundraising, and the adoption program.
