Snickers
Last September my husband and I adopted a lab mix puppy from Davis County Animal Shelter through your Pet Super Adoption event. We named her Snickers and I think she is the sweetest dog in the world. (Even though right now she is working on destroying a basketball..) I honestly felt like there was something missing in my life before I got her. I was going through a period where I felt like there was a part of me that was missing. Which may sound kind of sad since I had just gotten married three months before. When we brought Snickers home after being fixed and she started to warm up to us, I knew I had found what was missing. Snickers warmed up to us so much that she decided to destroy the two seat cushions on our love seat through frequent and oftentimes undeterable bouts of digging. She likes to hide our silver ware under our bed and she will frequently get herself stuck under our bed in the process. When we give her baths she stands in the tub and lets us wash her but when it's time to get out of the bathroom she goes crazy. She will race all over our apartment like a crazy thing and she will rub herself up against our couch all the while snorting and growling. Then she will run into the bedroom and roll around of the bed to get herself dry. Then it's back into the living room to do it all over again! She is such a silly dog! She loves everyone and everything and she is truly a joy to have.
I had a breed DNA test done on her through Canine Heritage and the results came back a few weeks ago. Their test said that she is about 85% Lab and the other 15% was mixed with Staffordshire Bull Terrier and a Brittany. That tells me why she is so short and why she has SO much energy!
Sincerely,
Brigitte Reed.
