A furry toast
Every Wednesday during the month of September from 5 to 7 pm, Fleming's will host a wine tasting with appetizers. Admission is $25 per guest and Fleming's Prime Steakhouse will donate $10 of each admission to No More Homeless Pets in Utah. There will be three different wines along with three tasty appetizers that people can try. Flemings is located at 20 S. 400 W. in the Gateway downtown.
Reservations are required for the wine tastings. Call Fleming's at 355-3704 to get on the list for this fun fundraiser. Sorry no pets allowed at this one.

Walk, Wag & Swim a success
It couldn't have been a more beautiful Saturday this past weekend as hundreds of pooches piled in the Draper Pool for the 4th annual Walk, Wag & Swim. Event organizer, Shelley Gallagher stated that 280 dogs registered this year, which is 100 more dogs than last year! Each dog brought at least two humans along which meant close to 600 people took part in the fun.
No More Homeless Pets in Utah would like to send out a huge thanks to Aquatics Coordinator, Shelley Gallagher and all the folks at Dimple Dell Recreation Center for donating the proceeds from this terrific event to No More Homeless Pets in Utah in order to support our spay/neuter, adoption and feral cat programs.
